February Visit to Our Place Society

Today, the Beehive Wool Shop Foundation – the non-profit arm of Beehive Wool Shop – had the pleasure of visiting Our Place Society once again.

Each visit reminds us why this work matters so much. What a joy it was to see how much the students have grown in their knitting skills. Scarves are well underway, stitches are looking confident and even, and creativity is flourishing. We were especially delighted to see Salome begin her very first sweater – a wonderful milestone that reflects both dedication and courage.

There is something deeply meaningful about watching skills develop one stitch at a time. Knitting offers more than technique; it creates space for focus, connection, patience, and pride in one’s progress. Seeing that confidence grow within the group is incredibly inspiring.

We are so grateful to Our Place Society for welcoming us back so warmly. It is a privilege to share time, yarn, and learning together, and we are already looking forward to our next visit.

With gratitude,
The Beehive Wool Shop Foundation
